Rushin Towing

Thursday, May 24, 2012

When you hear the name Rushin Towing does it feel like "hey, those guys have been here forever?"

It's because they have.

Rushin Towing was started in 1956 by Bill and Virgil Rushin. Those Rushin brothers as they were called were known for being there when someone needed a helping hand. They started out on Ditch Road with a few tow trucks and a garage right next door to the neighborhood grocery. They stood behind their work and for their community.

Those standards still stand today.

In 1989 when Steve Rushin purchased the business from his mother he stepped in to continue the traditions that his father started before him. Towing anything large or small, maybe just unlocking a car or changing your tire anytime of the day or night. Steve still believes in upholding the standards of family and tradition.

Everyone at Rushin appreciates all of the customers' loyalty through all these years. Rushin Towing has been getting the job done since 1956 and it's still true today.

The business always has been at the same location,

1813 S. Broadway.

The business is a 24-hour-a-day, seven-days-a-week operation. Shop hours are from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Rushin Towing's telephone number is (573) 785-6349.
