PIEDMONT, Mo. -- Marie Mell-Hinkle, 80, of Piedmont, Mo., died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Clark's Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont.
She was born July 1, 1931, in Greenville and was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. She was a longtime member of the Piedmont Church of the Nazarene.
She worked at the New Era Shirt Factory in Piedmont and later worked with the Green Thumb Program at Clearwater Schools.
On June 28, 1946, she was married to Normal "Butch" Mell, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 3, 1973, she was married to Floyd Pedrini. He also preceded her in death.
On Aug. 21, 1994, she was married to Edward Hinkle. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Melba Kinnamore of Piedmont; three stepsons, Edward Hinkle Jr., Ricky Hinkle and Roger Hinkle; three stepdaughters, Nancy Van Hoosen, Carolyn Martin and Barbara Powell, all of Piedmont, two sisters, Eunice Dueffrenne of De Soto, Mo., Sylvia Bishop of Piedmont; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Gary Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in the Clay Cemetery near Piedmont.
Memorials have been requested to the Piedmont Church of the Nazarene Building Fund.
