Inconsiderate camper

Here I sit on a beautiful weekend out at Redman Creek out at Lake Wappapello this Mother's Day and I see some of the most inconsiderate campers that I have ever seen in my life. What is it about pet owners now that just believe it's okay to walk their dogs through everyone else's site and worse yet, allow their dogs up around the child play area near the shower house and have them making their messes up there for those children to be running around in? You heard me right! They're having their dogs do their business in the play area and just walking off and leaving it for other little kids to stomp around in. Really considerate of them. I hope you read this in Speak Out and think the next time because if I were a little more able I'd have followed you back to your camp site, gotten your license number and given it to the ranger, which I should anyway. But, you're gone now, inconsiderate camper, but think of this the next time after you read this in Speak Out. Think! If that was your children coming in with that mess on their feet, shoes and clothing. Think of it next time and maybe you won't do that again, huh? There are other campers out here who are a lot more considerate. At least they try to pick up after their animals. You, on the other hand, and the rest of your group are most thoughtless group of people I've ever met. Well, thank you, Speak Out, for letting me vent. But, something had to be said. These volunteers out here are not doing a very good job.

What are you

wearing Mona?

This is in response to the May 8th article by Mona Charen, "Parallels of smoking and porn." I have a question for you, Mona. What are you wearing?

Fear ads are

low as it gets

Have those in the Democratic Party actually lost their mind? To struggle so vainly for an inept president that they will run fear ads on the BET Channel, saying vote! as if means your life. Don't lose your right to vote. This is America yet. Now mind you there are some states that are trying to move towards a picture ID to vote. Gee, I've got a picture on my driver's license and I have to use that everywhere. To even get a library card. Strange, isn't it? How they somehow want to think that's it's going to disenfranchise millions, but running such ads -- fear ads, as they're called--is just a low as it gets. And, me, I'm an independent voter. You know the swing vote that everyone wants so much. Democrats, you better wake up. You've lost this vote. And, guess what? I talk to my friends and my friends talk to their friends and it spreads like wild fire. You see, we're not a bunch of rubes sitting out here waiting for a hand out from you Democrats any more.
