RVers fill

camp sites

Me and my wife this weekend decided to go out to Redman Creek because it's the opening weekend for camping. Now mind you, me and my wife are avid campers and we're the kind who like to rough it. You know, tents, portable camping stove. That sort of type of camping. And yet when we got there Friday night what opened our eyes --a campground full of every sort of RV to name the band. And, I'm thinking, well, school's not out. It's definitely not spring break. What's going on here? And then suddenly just like a little light bulb come on and I thought --these are the RV owners that are trying to beat that mythical $5 a gallon on gasoline to have that last hurrah before they have to park it and can't use it anymore. They're trying to have one more time out with the family. One more vacation no matter how short it is in the RV before gas prices literally drive them off the road and drive them to park it until some of them rot. Sad to see such a case, but they even had to open up the overflow on the back of the campgrounds. Something that they wouldn't have done. Normally, it's done in April. Well, but they had to do it now. Simply due to the number of RVers that came out on opening weekend. What do you think of that, America? Just from the fear of possibly $5 a gallon gasoline coming this summer. Wow! Now there's a sign you could take to the bank in this election. Talk to a local RVer and see what they think of these gas prices. They'll give you a real clear slice of their mind.
