Mt. Calvary Church thanks donors

To the Editor:

The 5th Annual Toy Giveaway Celebration is an outreach activity of Mt. Calvary Powerhouse Church in collaboration with local corporate sponsors and community partners. The event provides toys, coats, shoes/boats, scarves and hats to hundreds of area children and families every year. In addition, 150 food baskets along with 25 bikes were also given away to improve the holiday for many. I look forward to the toy giveaway each year, and I'm grateful that the donations have kept up with the increasing demands.

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your generous donations. Our citywide toy giveaway and coat drive was a huge success, in part due to your help. All donations, large and small, put cheer into the holidays for a child who may otherwise not have received a gift at all. We couldn't have done it with you!

Thanks to the following sponsors and partners: Robertson Construction, Edmundson, Edmundson & Innes, First Midwest Bank, Commerce Bank, First Community Bank Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, Gregory Logistics, Myrtle's, La Boutique, Fred's, Three Rivers College & Rocky Raider, The UPS Store, Wheatley Historic Preservation Board, Stump, Dan's Trophies, Robert's Pest Control, Poplar Bluff Senior High School, Pleasant Hill M.
