Speak Out 10/9/11

Smart up,

lock your cars

I'm calling about the police log in the newspaper. It's just really aggravating. I keep reading in there about these people leaving unlocked vehicles. There's one is an unlocked Blazer at Poplar Bluff Medical Center and I'm assuming she just left her wallet, her laptop computer and cell phone and everything right there with her driver's license, check book and everything got stolen. Well, doesn't anybody have sense enough to LOCK your doors so you will not have anybody be able to have access to getting into your car that easy or put the stuff in the trunk? It's common sense.

Watch what's

on the road

I would like to speak out on how people are always runnin' over dogs and cats and people and they never get charged for runnin' over a human being and killin' them. I hope you put this in the paper. People watch. Everything has feelings. What kind of person cannot see a dog or a cat on the road? Let alone a human. You don't need to be drivin' if you're no better than that. Watch out for what's on the road.

Dope shortens

your lifespan

You know if people that is on dope -- if they really knew that it was injuring their body and could cause them to die earlier ('cause I know that's so). I've never been on it and I'm glad I'm not, but I wish whoever's on dope would quit using it and maybe it could shorten their lives.

Thank you

for finding ring

I was wanting to thank this lady -- cleaning lady at Briggs & Stratton -- for finding my ring and turning it in and being honest about it. And, I want to thank her very, very, very much. Thank you.
