Keep values safe

I can't believe in this day and age there's still grown women leavin' their purses in their vehicles thinking that there's some kind of magical protection that your purse won't get stolen. If that purse is not that important to you, why don't you leave it at home? Or better yet lock it in the trunk. Don't leave it out in the open where somebody can see it. I don't why you wouldn't think that your purse was safer out in the parking lot instead of inside the church. Why that's just weird. I don't know what you think is going on. Except there's roaming drug addicts that's gonna bust your car window out if they see that purse in there. I think that you better take your purse with you or leave it at home from now on.

Get head

out of sand

I would like to respond to the person who said to stay out of others business and who did not believe the synthetic drugs were killing people. It is heartbreaking to lose a child and when your child dies from a drug overdose that's a very private affair. It's none of your business. I don't have to put an ad in the paper to say my child took these bath salts and my child died. A person such as yourself obviously has no heart. If we decided that LSD and heroin are illegal, but these people can make these bath salts and K2 and what other illegal drugs, that's okay? I don't know where your head is, but you need to get it out of the sand. And, if your husband tells you that nobody ever dies from taking these drugs, well, his head's in the sand, too. You might wanna help him pull it up so he can breathe. You just need to mind your own business and let the lawmakers do what they are getting elected to do. That is to help us. You know you can't keep an 18 year old from goin' into one of these head shops and buying these synthetic drugs. You may have raised them right. You may have taught all the values, but if a group of them gets together and one of them takes 'em then they all take 'em. Well, that was a poor decision that an adult made. Sometimes, we have to be protected from ourselves. And, yes, there are many people who have lost their kids due to these bath salts and these other drugs, but you know what? I don't think we have to take a full page ad out in the DAR to say, "Hey! Guess what my kid died of?" I just think that was a terribly uninformed comment on your part.

Toe the line

As a Republican, I can tell you the most viable candidate we have is Ron Paul, but he's not young and sexy. He doesn't have that East Texas accent like Gov. Rick Perry. He doesn't have a crazy attitude or crazy eyes or long legs like Michelle Bachmann, so we're gonna put in the very handsome former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

Oh, no! He's none of those things. He's just an honest man that has good ideas and will listen to other people. Why would we ever want such a responsible mature leader to be our next president? No. Everybody's gonna toe the party line and it will either be Rick Perry or it's gonna be Mitt Romney. I just am disgusted with the Republican Party. And let me tell you somethin' --if Michelle Bachmann gets on the ticket as a vice-presidential or the presidential candidate, I'm gonna vote Obama. I most certainly will. Thank you.
