Vehicle crashes into house on Tremont Street

DAR/Michael Shine Poplar Bluff Police and firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle colliding with a house on the 1300 block of Tremont St. on Monday at about 5:30 p.m. The responding Poplar Bluff police officer said the driver of the vehicle was transported to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center by ambulance. The incident is being investigated as a motor vehicle accident, he said. The Municipal Utility department responded as well in order to turn off the power to the house before Casey's Towing and Recovery could remove the truck from the house.
