About 800 people attended the annual Taste of the Town on Thursday at the Black River Coliseum.
The event raised approximately $70,000 to support the activities of the Boys & Girls Club of Poplar Bluff, said Chris Rushin, chief executive officer.
The funds help support the club’s $1 million annual budget, which supports after school and summer programs for Butler County children.
The People’s Choice Award went to Haffy’s, and the Overall Champion for the event was Colton’s/Phantom V.
